pipelle h

Pipelle® H

Description / Use

Based on the original Pipelle® device, the Pipelle® H optimizes endometrium sampling when performing a diagnostic hysteroscopy.

Owing to its length (50 cm), the Pipelle® H produces enough suction to collect a large volume of endometrial tissue, despite the presence of the distension medium, and without having to repeat the procedure several times.

Once the hysteroscopic examination of the uterine cavity is finished, the Pipelle® H is fed through the hysteroscope’s diagnostic sheath, instead of the optic, up to the uterine fundus. A biopsy is then taken in the usual fashion.

pipelle markiib

Pipelle® Mark II

Description / Use

As the first disposable device for outpatient endometrial aspiration in cancer screening, the Pipelle® has become the reference in endometrium cancer screening.

Sampling with the Pipelle® is extremely well tolerated by patients, and causes little to no bleeding. It bends easily to follow the curves of the cervix and the uterus, and to remain in contact with the uterine wall. Over 200 publications worldwide attest to its reliability, effectiveness and safety.

Pipelle® Mark II

Description / Use

A special surface treatment on the tip of the Pipelle® Mark II helps collect endometrial cells for smear cytology.

ceros

CEROS (Hamilton Throne)

Description / Use

If you replaced the internal optics of the IVOS II analyzer with a microscope and camera, what would you have? You would have a high performance analyzer at a lower price. You would have a CEROS II.

Save Space, Save Money

If you have limited bench space, a limited budget, or both – the CEROS is the answer for your computer assisted semen analysis needs. Providing the same sperm analysis accuracy and detail of the IVOS II, the CEROS II is a cost-effective and space-saving alternative. Since the CEROS II processor is a separate unit from the optical component, the computer can be placed under the bench and out of the way.

Components

  • A high speed computer running Windows 7
  • A negative phase contrast trinocular microscope (choice of Zeiss or Olympus)
  • A high resolution digital camera (analog camera is used for legacy Version 14 software)
  • A 24″ widescreen monitor
  • Mouse and keyboard

Ease of Use

The CEROS II hardware and software have been designed to provide users with a system that offers high-end performance while maintaining its ease of use. The intuitive Windows-based software promotes fast learning and quickly increases the confidence level of users. With a minimum investment of time, even users unfamiliar with computers will be performing fast, accurate and reliable sperm analyses. You don’t need to be a computer expert to analyze sperm with the CEROS II.
